To cover more ground, boosting our confidence on tall boulders, we hike out with the Black Diamond Circuit Z Crash Pad strapped to our back. The large surface area increases our landing zone, while the tri-fold design and harness system make for a simple carry. The thick foam construction of high-compression polyurethane and closed-cell polyethylene softens our landing without bottoming out.
