Description
The Caledonia Ultegra Di2 Road Bike is that bike we have all been waiting for. It’s the one that seamlessly blends the boundaries between a road-specific design and a gravel cruiser. Cervelo designed this bike for riders who want the speed of a road bike, but also for those who chase down gravel paths and ride the dirt until there’s a layer of grit on everything from our wheels to our cheesy grin. With a 34 tooth cog on the back for accelerating through the steep stuff and the reliable Ultegra Di2 semi-compact groupset to boot, the Caledonia lays down our new definition of road riding. It’s engineered for the modern rider and meets our needs every time. Built with a lightweight frame and a shorter wheelbase and front-center than the Aspero gravel racer, the Caledonia meets road riders where they’re at and then offers a new world of possibilities. It features a trail and head tube angle similar to the Aspero, plus clearance for 34mm tires, which means it’s fine-tuned for unforgiving roads, sketchy shortcuts, and grueling gravel rollers. Of course, Cervelo focuses on a carbon layup to reduce fatigue for our ride, letting us go faster for a longer period of time. This reduces vibrations from rough roads without sacrificing the bonuses that come with a stiff bottom bracket area and front end. We like the responsiveness of this frame and the tube shaping that meets the needs of the modern road rider. And, if we ever want to go 1x for a cleaner aesthetic or simplicity, the front derailleur mount is easily removed. *Due to unprecedented demand in the global supply chain and the bike industry over the last 18 months, material weight and exact components are subject to change.
