The Mountain 600 is part of Danner’s Performance Heritage collection, which updates some classic hiking boot styles with lighter technologies. Vibram midsoles and outsoles modernize the boot’s feel and grip while a proprietary membrane backs up the waterproof suede uppers with additional waterproof-breathable weather protection. We also love the vintage look of brown leather and red laces, whether we’re a mountain town hipster or an old-school hiker who’s nostalgic for the 80s.
