Description
Whether we are crushing cross-country races or hitting the jump lines with the buds, the Ibis DV9 is one of our go-to’s when we want to ride fast and fly high. The Ibis DV9 is a versatile, lightweight hardtail that features progressive geometry to aid in aggressive riding. Size-specific seat tube angles, a low standover height, and short chainstays are put together to bring an absolute ripper of a bike to riders of all sizes, and give us a playful and agile ride without sacrificing too much stability and straight line speed. When equipped with the default 120mm fork, the DV9 features a 66. 5-degree head tube angle and a 74-76-degree seat tube angle; giving this progressive hardtail the ability to point downwards on the steeps and be efficient on the climbs without losing sight of its precise handling. Integrated chainstay and downtube protectors keeps our frame protected from rocks strikes and chain slaps, while 2 water bottle mounts inside the front triangle allow us to stay hydrated at all times. The GX Eagle Transmission AXS build of the Ibis DV9 gives us quality components, an electric drivetrain, and a race-ready spec. First up, Ibis carbon frame, known for being one if the lightest and most advanced carbon laying processes in the game, this frame is super stiff, durable and lightweight. Next, SRAM’s GX Eagle Transmission AXS drivetrain gives us flawless shifting, a huge 12-speed drivetrain for getting us up those technical climbs and a super durable design. A Fox Factory 34 fork steps this build up without bringing the weight and features a plethora of adjustments so we can tune our fork to meet our riding style. Ibis 933 aluminum rims and Ibis hubs are paired with premium Maxxis Rekon Race tires, offering a cross-country-oriented build that keeps the rolling resistance to a minimum and wont break the bank.*Due to a high demand in the global supply chain and bike industry since the start of the pandemic, material weight and exact components are subject to c…
