One of our favorite trail bikes has been redesigned and is back and better than ever. The Ibis Ripley received a plethora of updates and improvements for 2024, ramping up the travel, redesigning the fit, and incorporating exciting new frame features to take its performance and capability sky-high. The Ripley gets a 10mm bump in travel in both the front and rear, and now features 130mm of DW-Link suspension paired with a 140mm fork for more capability and confidence all over the mountain. A longer wheelbase and reach give us more stability on steep terrain, and the slacker 64. 9-degree head tube angle ensures a much better position to point the bike downhill than any other Ripley of the past. Ibis also updated their size range, giving the Ripley five sizes to fit a broader range of riders. In addition, size-specific geometry adds a dramatic update to the fit and feel for every sized rider, deploying size-specific chainstays, seat tube angles, and bottom bracket heights for the best-fitting Ripley ever. The Ripley comes stock as a dual 29’er, but with a flip of the chip on the rear shock link we can install a 27. 5-inch wheel for a more agile ride. Ibis hid the last surprise behind a secret door, giving us a sleek internal frame storage system for stashing tools, tubes, and snacks inside our bike. The Shimano XT build sports a quality Shimano drivetrain and brakes, top-tier suspension, and Ibis’s carbon fiber frame. Ibis’s carbon frame has a great reputation for being durable, lightweight, and reliable, giving us all the confidence we need on the trails. Next, Shimano’s XT drivetrain equips us with a 12-speed drivetrain that brings us a reliable and performance-focused drivetrain to excel on the trails. A Fox Factory DPS rear shock ensures gripping traction and sensitivity to the smallest bumps, while the Fox Float 34 Factory 140mm fork soaks up the bigger hits and is super adjustable.*Due to a high demand in the global supply chain and bike industry since the star…
