Description
Whether we are looking to put in some serious miles or just for a lightweight trail bike, the Ibis Ripley is a go-to in our bike quiver. Sporting a premium carbon fiber frame and 120mm of DW-Link suspension, the Ripley rockets up climbs and handles most trails easily. A 66. 5-degree headtube angle paired with a 76-degree seat tube angle puts us in the perfect position to be efficient on climbs and stable on descents while maintaining snappy handling. The Ripley features short 432mm chainstays, making for an ultra-playful and poppy bike. Short standover heights, short seat tubes, and clearance for long dropper posts allow riders of all heights to get their perfect fit. 29-inch wheels help our rollover capabilities, allowing us to power on through rock gardens and technical sections with ease. This build of the Ibis Ripley is top-tier and features some of the newest and most advanced components on the market. First up is SRAM’s new XX Eagle AXS Transmission drivetrain, which provides reliable and precise electronic shifting. A Fox Factory 34 fork with 130mm of travel will help smooth the trail, and the Fox Factory DPS is lightweight and adjustable. Ibis paired their own S35 carbon rims with Industry Nine’s Hydra hub to give us a very capable wheelset that is lightweight, fast, and has that unmistakable I9 Hydra buzz some envy. RockShox’s AXS Reverb dropper post gives us smooth changes in saddle height without the cables, and Shimano’s premier XTR 4-piston brakes supply loads of stopping power *Due to a high demand in the global supply chain and bike industry since the start of the pandemic, material weight and exact components are subject to change. We are working diligently to keep tech specs updated, and any adjustments will be of equal or better spec level.
