Looking like a miniature HD6 rather than an updated Ripmo, the new and improved Ibis Ripmo harnesses multiple improvements we are stoked about. Now equipped with 150mm of DW-Link suspension, the Ripmo ramps up the travel, slackens out the head tube angle, and lengthens the wheelbase over the previous iteration for a more capable bike all over the mountain. The Ripmo now features five sizes, with an Extra Medium size in the middle of its range and a much larger Extra Large size for a broader range of fitment compatibility. In addition to the new range of sizes, Ibis also split up the wheel sizes, giving the two smallest sizes mixed wheels and the three largest sizes 29-inch wheels. No matter what size frame we have, we can run either wheel size thanks to the flip chip on the rear shock link. Another big improvement comes in the way of size-specific geometry, giving us chainstays, seat tube angles, and bottom bracket heights specific to the frame size for a balanced fit and feel. Finishing off the long list of updates, Ibis dropped on us their new internal frame storage system, featuring a unique latch handle door and special edition Ibis x Cotopaxi storage bags. The GX Transmission build is equipped with quality components, Ibis’s renowned carbon frame, and SRAM’s electronic drivetrain for performance on the trails. Every build of the Ripmo is fitted with the same premium carbon frame, giving us optimal stiffness, durability, and precise handling. SRAM’s GX Transmission drivetrain equips us with electronic shifting precision for flawless shifts every time and features a durable and replaceable design. The Ripmo is fitted with Fox’s new Float 36 Factory GripX fork for all-mountain prowess and a Factory Float X rear shock relentless grip in a lightweight package. Ibis’s Blackbird Send alloy wheels top off this build, ensuring a durable alloy wheelset for shredding at any level.*Due to a high demand in the global supply chain and bike industry since the start of…
