Description
Long days of technical descents and grueling climbs call for a bike that can handle a variety of terrains with ease and efficiency. The Ibis Ripmo fits the bill, and we are always stoked to throw a leg over one for its efficient suspension platform, lightweight frame, and dual 29-inch wheels. Designed for aggressive trail or enduro riding, the Ripmo features 147mm of DW-Link suspension to plow through rough sections and float over rocks and roots. A 64. 9-degree head tube angle keeps us stable and under control on steep descents, and a 77-degree seat tube angle positions us upright and over the pedals for an efficient pedaling position. Short 435mm chainstays across all sizes give us a playful and agile bike, while the long reach gives us confidence when plowing down the steepest black diamond trails. The Ripmo features integrated downtube and chainstay protectors to protect our frame from rock strikes and chain slaps, and a water bottle mount inside the front triangle allows us to take along a water bottle so we are always hydrated. The newest version of the Ripmo received a revised swingarm on the rear of the bike, giving us a wider, 55mm chain line for enhanced stiffness and a Universal Derailleur Hanger for an easier and more compatible component specs. Whether we are hitting the jump lines or in for an all-day ride of climbing and descending, the Ripmo is always a solid choice.
