Description
Trail bikes are a dime a dozen and the most popular type of mountain bike. With this in mind, Juliana created the Furtado, an aggressive mixed-wheel brawler of a trail bike that is second to none and no ordinary run-of-the-mill option. Complete with a mixed-wheel setup and aggressive geometry, the Furtado punches well above its weight class and excels all over the mountain. With a 29-inch wheel up front for roll-over capability and a 27. 5-inch rear wheel providing enhanced agility and clearance, the Furtado ensures a lively ride all over the mountain. 130mm of VPP suspension provides efficient climbing and ruthless and rowdy descending, allowing us to enjoy the climb as much as the descent. Slack, long, and low geometry equips us with stability and confidence on black diamond descents, and a steep seat tube angle gives us composed and efficient climbing on the way back up. Size-specific chainstays lend every frame size the same balanced and agile rear end, while the adjustable Flip Chip in the rear shock link allows us to drop our center of gravity and slacken out our geometry for more confidence on days with big descents. Additional features on the Furtado include the Glovebox frame storage system so we can carry our bike tools and a spare tube, while a convenient Sag Window allows us to see our rear shocks sag indicator for an easier shock setup. Finally, integrated downtube and chainstay protectors help keep our fresh paint job protected from rock ships and chain slaps, while the shuttle guard protects our downtube when we shuttle to the trailhead. The GX Eagle Transmission build of the Juliana Furtado comes equipped with quality components, a fancy electronic drivetrain, and Juliana’s base Carbon C frame. The Carbon C frame provides a stiff and lightweight platform built to the same standards as their more premium CC frame, just with a slight weight penalty. SRAM’s GX Eagle Transmission AXS drivetrain gives us super smooth and precise electronic shifting, a …
