Description
For those hard-charging days when we don’t want to sacrifice agility but still want to eat up rock gardens and technical descents, the Juliana Roubion is our go-to bike. With 150mm of premium VPP suspension, the Roubion is an all-around enduro machine that can easily handle chunky descents and climb narrow switchbacks with grace. A 64. 7-degree headtube angle paired with a 29-inch wheel upfront allows us to have confidence descending and rolling over roots and rocks by keeping our front wheel out ahead of us. Size-specific seat tube angles, averaging 77. 2 degrees, keep us upright and in the perfect position to be efficient when pedaling, allowing us to stay in the saddle and punch through those technical climbs. A 27. 5-inch rear wheel provides sharper cornering characteristics and lets the wheels off the ground easier when we feel like catching some air. The Roubion has a flip chip in the shock link that allows us to change the bike’s geometry, easily making it slacker, longer, and lower for when we feel like sending it. This year, Juliana and Santa Cruz added a Glovebox frame storage to many of their bikes for the option to leave the backpack at home and store our riding essentials in the downtube of our frame for easy access. Additionally, a new Sag Window allows us to see the shocks sag indicator ring easier by adding a small cutout through the frame, simplifying the reading and setting of our rear shocks sag. The X0 AXS Transmission build of the Juliana Roubion is a top-level build, equipping us with some of the best components on the market. Juliana’s premium Carbon CC frame utilizes the best carbon fiber to make the lightest and stiffest frame possible. SRAM’s new X0 Transmission AXS drivetrain gives us the latest technology in electronic drivetrains, sporting flawless shifting even under load, a hanger-less interface for more durability, a near bombproof design, and an auto-adjusting clutch in the derailleur that gets our gears lined up perfectly even a…
