On backpacking missions, this pack houses us and a partner with ample space without overloading our packs. However, the Switch Tent really thrives during weekend car camping sessions or even at outdoor events, thanks to its ability to turn into a sun shade at the drop of a hat. With two poles (sold separately), the front vestibule can be propped up as an awning that keeps the sun off of our faces, allows multiple people to come and go comfortably, all while giving us respite from the heat.
