When we set out on long multi-day touring trips, we bring along the Ortovox Haute Route 40L Backpack to give us plenty of storage for all of the extra layers, gear, and nutrition we need for multiple days in the backcountry. This super spacious pack has dedicated compartments and gear loops for safety equipment, maps, ice axes, and other essentials needed to tackle big mountain lines. Constructed from ultra-durable Cordura ripstop, the pack resists abrasions from rocks and brush and is also treated with a PU coating so that it sheds snow when it starts to dump. For an extra layer of convenience, the dual-access main compartment allows us to grab our puffy from the back instead of rooting through our entire pack.
