If we’re looking to set records at the locally popular 20-mile loop, we’re taking our Osprey Talon Pro 30 Backpack. Even when filled to the brim with energy bars, extra layers, and water, it still feels like there’s almost nothing there. Integrating ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene, it weights as much as air but is as tough as rocks, resisting the typical wear and tear of our hard hikes but without the additional bulk.
