Description
Designed for slower swing speed players who struggle to generate sufficient club head speed, the G430 High Launch build is custom engineered with a lighter back weight, ultra-light shafts, and lightweight grips. By lowering the club’s overall weight, golfers can swing faster and generate elevated ball speeds, resulting in higher launching and longer carrying shots that travel farther. New to the PING G430 HL SFT Driver is a two-setting, movable tungsten back weight that shifts the center of gravity, providing 13 yards of right-to-left shot correction in the Draw position and an additional 7 yards (20 total) in Draw+. As such, the SFT is a major boon for golfers who struggle with a slice. PING engineered the G430 SFT with a shallower, thinner variable-thickness face that increases face deflection, resulting in explosive ball speed and PING’s biggest distance gains to date. Spinsistency, which consists of a variable roll radius, contributes to the newly found speed by reducing spin across the face, producing consistently longer drivers. The stock shaft and grip are PING’s lightweight ALTA Quick and Lamkin’s lightweight UTx, respectively. PING G430 HL SFT Driver Features: Designed for swing speeds under 75 mph with a lighter back weight (11g), ultra-light shafts, and lightweight grips Draw-biased with Straight Flight Technology to help golfers that struggle with a slice Movable tungsten rear weight delivers 2 levels of right-to-left shot shape in the Draw and Draw+ setting Shallower, variable thickness T9S+ face is thinner for faster ball speeds Spinsistency variable roll radius design reduces spin across the face for faster speeds and increased distance New internal rib structure fine-tunes frequencies throughout the head, creating an improved, pleasing sound at impact Trajectory Tuning 2.0 hosel provides 8 position to adjust loft (+/- 1.5°) and lie (up to 3° flatter than standard) Stock Shaft: PING ALTA Quick 35/45 (38g, 45g) Stock Grip: Lamkin UTx (41g) Head
