Description
Whether we are just out for a casual ride or dropping black diamonds, the Santa Cruz Bronson is the perfect bike when we need one that can do a little bit of everything. Complete with 150mm of VPP suspension, the Bronson Descends with reckless abandon and can make short work out of most climbs. The mixed-wheel setup provides the best of both worlds, giving us an efficient rolling 29-inch wheel up front and an agile 27. 5-inch rear wheel to maneuver quicker and turn sharper. A 64. 7-degree headtube angle gives us an extra-long wheelbase and sticks our front wheel out in front of us for confidence and stability on the descents. A size-specific seat tube angle, sitting at around 77 degrees, puts us in the perfect position over the pedals allowing us to be efficient when climbing. Size-specific chainstay lengths mean every rider on a Bronson can have the same agile and playful rear end, no matter our size frame. On those bigger bike park days when we are riding more technical and steep terrain, the Bronson features a flip chip that allows us to adjust our geometry, making the bike slacker, longer, and lower. Santa Cruz made several changes to their frames this year, including a Glovebox frame storage for easy access to our riding essentials and a Sag Window for making sag reading and setup easier. The Bronson includes an integrated chainstay and downtube protector to protect our bike from rock strikes and chain slaps and a shuttle guard so we can throw our bike over the back of our tailgate without worrying about scratching our frame. The S build of the Santa Cruz Bronson combines quality components with a value-packed price point. This build starts with Santa Cruz’s Carbon C frame, which is built to the same standards as Santa Cruz’s premium Carbon CC frame for best-in-class stiffness and reliability. SRAM’s GX drivetrain gives a reliable 12-speed drivetrain that has a huge gear range for getting us technical climbs. RaceFace AR Offset 30 alloy rims allow us to plow…
