With a trail weight under five pounds, the Sierra Designs Meteor 3 Backpacking Tent brings us some extra space without breaking our back with extra weight. The no-see-um mesh keeps out the skeeters and other critters, while the rainfly attaches easily to keep us dry when wet weather rolls into camp. We also like the two-door design, which keeps us from climbing over our tent buddy, along with the twin vestibules, which keep our damp and dirty belongings outside the tent but still within easy reach. This 3-person, 3-season tent is light enough for backpacking and roomy enough for comfortable car camping too.
