Description
The new Srixon ZXi Fairway Woods deliver tour-caliber distance, a byproduct of the completely redesigned i-FLEX face and innovative Rebound Frame technology. These advanced technologies maximize face flex and more efficiently transfer energy at impact, generating explosive ball speeds. The 3+ and 3 wood are engineered differently than 5 and 7 wood, as they serve different purposes in the bag. A player’s lowest lofted fairway is intended for maximum distance from the turf. As such, both stronger lofted offerings use a lightweight, stepped carbon crown to reposition mass closer to the sole, lowering the center of gravity. This results in greater COR, the measurement of a club’s ball speed capabilities, and a higher launch, a crucial component in increasing carry distances. Conversely, higher-lofted woods are frequently used on longer approach shots where accuracy is paramount to success. Thus, Srixon opted for a standard crown and slightly elevated CG on the 5 and 7 wood, prioritizing the spin required for precise control and workability. The stock shaft and grip are Fujikura’s Ventrus TR Blue and Golf Pride’s Tour Velvet 360. Srixon ZXi Fairway Woods Feature: i-FLEX Face with a completely redesigned variable thickness pattern more efficiently transfers energy for increased ball speed Rebound Frame utilizes two flex zones instead of one to maximize flex across the face for increased power, ball speed, and distance on every strike 3+ and 3 wood have a strong, lightweight, stepped carbon crown that lowers the center of gravity for maximum COR and a higher launch 5 and 7 wood CG enhances spin for improved accuracy, control, and workability Progressive footprints featuring a flatter, more grounded leading edge shape on the toe side New adjustable hosel sleeve lets you fine-tune loft, lie, and face angle (loft can be adjusted up to +/- 1.5°) Stock Shaft: Fujikura Ventus TR Blue Stock Grip: Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 (Standard Size, 52g, .580″) Headcover Included Authori
