St. Croix not only built this rod series on its highly evolved SCIV+ carbon fiber blanks, which incorporate both SCIV and SCVI materials, but gave each model its own exotic blend, calibrated for optimal performance within their intended techniques and presentations. Each hybrid blank is instilled with the technologies that set St. Croix rods apart: IPC® (Integrated Poly Curve Technology) for uniform smooth actions, ART™ (Advanced Reinforcing Technology) to maximize the hoop strength, and FRS (Fortified Resin System) curing for extreme power and consistency. The premium componentry includes rigid titanium guides with silicon carbide rings; a molded carbon-fiber DYNAMIX reel seat for extreme energy transmission; a redesigned, ultra-contoured molded carbon-fiber TRIGON handle with high-tack, chemical-resistant thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) grip lines molded in to ensure a secure, satisfying grip in all weather; and a unique rear trigger near the base of the handle to aid in casting accuracy and retrieval control, especially with live-sonar presentations.
