Description
Seeking out the roughest and rowdiest trails we can find is a simple task knowing we have our Yeti SB150 Turq T1 XT Mountain Bike to guide us through. This race-bred machine’s sole purpose is to get us down the mountain as fast as possible, having proven itself a winner at the highest levels of enduro racing. The SB150 comes equipped with big 29in wheels, 150mm of rear suspension, a 170mm FOX Factory fork, and enduro-rated 4-caliper brakes for the hairiest lines on the mountain. Built with Yeti’s Switch Infinity Linkage, this bike responds to big hit lines by delivering a bottomless feel to the suspension travel. When it comes to raw speed, the Yeti SB150 shows it’s firmly at the top of its class. This 29in wheeled machine combines slacked-out geometry and a long wheelbase to effortlessly roll over big obstacles while keeping the pace high. The frame is downhill-rated but remains impressively lightweight, and uses a 64. 5-degree head-tube angle that’s nicely paired with 29in wheels and aggressive Maxxis tires. The wheelbase is generously long for a size large, giving us great stability in the steeps. Yeti knows we like to go up the mountain too though, so the Switch Infinity linkage and steep 76. 9-degree seat-tube angle pair up well to get us up the hills with as little effort as possible. With all this enduro talk it’s important to know that the Yeti SB150 comes with a crop of enduro-rated parts and components. This bike gets the full Shimano and Fox treatment for a race day rig that’s ready to go between the tape on the weekends and up the lift on the weekdays. A full Shimano XT 12-speed drivetrain is equipped and includes Shimano’s Hyperglide technology, this creates impressively smooth shifting even while under load. The Yeti SB150 also gets a GRIP2-equipped FOX fork and the downhill-ready Float X2 shock. The GRIP2 damper found in the shock is fully customizable and allows for precise tuning before a big day at any kind of bike park. *Due to a high demand…
