Description

The new Yeti SB160 is a purebred race machine ready to go fast and hard through any terrain. This podium-pedigree rig is built utilizing Yeti’s C/Series carbon layup for a lightweight chassis that will withstand the abuse of a full season of enduro racing. 160mm of Fox Factory-supported Switch Infinity rear travel gets us down the mountain as fast as possible while still climbing efficiently so we don’t waste our energy on the transfers. A slack 64-degree headtube angle is bolstered by big 29in wheels and a 170mm Fox Factory 38 fork providing precision and stability at speed that gives us the confidence to tackle the fastest lines on the course. The SB160 C2 GX Factory build strikes the perfect balance between premium and wallet-friendly components. The SRAM GX 12-speed drivetrain shifts smoothly and reliably even when we have to make some last-minute gear decisions, and the 4-piston Code R brakes allow us to precisely modulate our speed when the race course turns technical. The premium Fox Factory-level suspension sports a Kashima coating for buttery smooth travel and extra durability, while the beefy stanchions on the Factory 38 fork offer exceptional torsional stability so we can stick our line. DT Swiss E1900 wheels are impressively bombproof so we can train and race without worrying too much about what we’re rolling over, and they’re easily upgradable to DT Swiss’s Ratchet system for even better hub engagement. And last but certainly not least, the geometry on the Yeti allows for a long OneUp dropper on every size to get our saddle out of the way as quickly as possible. The new Yeti SB160 C2 GX Factory mountain bike has us frothing to get started on our next enduro race podium hunt. *Due to a high demand in the global supply chain and bike industry since the start of the pandemic, material weight and exact components are subject to change.
