Description
Whether it’s lift-served shredding or laps at our favorite downhill trails, the Yeti SB165 never disappoints. This year, the SB165 receives a long-anticipated mixed-wheel setup and better downtube clearance and protection. The SB165 is fitted with a 170mm fork, dropping 10mm over the previous model to keep the geometry the same while reaping the benefits of a larger wheel up front. 165mm of Switch Infinity suspension combined with slack, aggressive geometry brings us exceptional downhill performance and confidence to hit trails we only ever dreamed of while still maintaining the ability to climb back to the top and do it all over again. The steep 76. 9-degree seat tube angle gives us an efficient pedaling position to make it up steep climbs, while the slack 63. 5-degree head tube, 29-inch front wheel, and long wheelbase give us all the confidence we need for steep trails and aggressive riding. The 27. 5-inch rear wheel and short, size-specific chainstays ensure extra clearance, more agility, and faster turning, while shorter seat tubes ensure room for long-stroke dropper posts. The SB165 features an updated progression curve, giving us more support through the mid-stroke with enhanced bottom-out resistance for bigger hits. Additional features on the SB165 include fully enclosed cable routing for a silent, clean-looking ride, a threaded bottom bracket for easy maintenance, SRAM’s Universal Derailleur Hanger for easy replacements, and integrated ISCG-05 mounts with an included bash guard to protect the downtube and chainring. The C3 GX Transmission Factory build of the Yeti SB165 features quality components, an electronic drivetrain, and upgraded Fox Factory suspension. To start out, the C-series carbon fiber frame is tested to downhill specifications and comes with a lifetime warranty for worry-free shredding. Next, the SRAM GX Transmission AXS drivetrain equips us with a premium shifting experience and enhanced trail performance through precise electronic shiftin…
